Neuchâtel Xamax FCS

Neuchâtel Xamax was founded in 1912. This historical club won 2 times the Swiss championship, but unfortunately got bankrupt in 2012. Reborn the same year, the club managed to go up to 3 leagues in order to come back in the Swiss Challenge League. Florian Berisha played almost every game of the 1st half of the season and was an important player of the team. However, just before the Winter break, a new trainer arrived and had a different opinion. Florian Berisha was thus asked to find a new club in order to be able to play regularly. 

FC Le Mont-sur-Lausanne

FC Le Mont-sur-Lausanne was founded in 1942. It was historically a small regional club that went to the next levels thank to a great team, staff and especially a strong perseverance. 

Le Mont succeeded in beating YB in 1/8 Swiss Cup and played then the 1/4 against the giant FC Basel.

The team did a great season and managed to go beyond all expectations by finishing at the 6th range of the Brach.ch Challenge League of season 2014-15. Florian Berisha became a key player of the team, and was the player with the major number of games played (35 out of 36).

FC Chiasso, founded in 1905, is a swiss football team playing in the Brack.ch Challenge League. In its first years, the club was evolving in the italian "Serie A", due to its geographic position at the border between Switzerland and Italy. The actual trainer of the team is the world famous player Gianluca Zambrotta (2006 Worldchampion). Due to its geographical position and links with Italy, the club was able to play against famous italian teams suchs as FC Internazionale, AC Milan or AC Cesena. Florian Berisha decided to go on a loan basis for a one year to FC Chiasso in order to play one complete season in Challenge League and having the possibility to evolve in this very international environment.

Fotbal Club Vaslui is a Romanian Footbal club from Vaslui, which plays in Liga 1, the top level of Romanian football. Not having a lot of playtime in his club in the middle of the 2012-2013 season, Florian decided to go on a loan in this famous romanian club, FC Vaslui, which had played the UEFA Champions League and Europa League several times. He signed a contract with them until the end of the season with option for the next one, unfortunately, the transfer occured at the last minute, and some problem with his qualification forced him to come back to Switzerland after only 3 weeks.

FC Aarau

FC Aarau is a Swiss football club playing in the Raiffeisen Super League (Swiss D1). The club is based in Aarau and play its game in the Brügglifeld stadium. Aarau was founded in 1902 and won the Swiss National League 3 times.

Florian Berisha signed a 3 years contract with the team, and after having spent the season 2012-13 in his new club, he decided to go to Chiasso to acquire more playtime thanks to a one-year loan. Florian Berisha is still belonging to Aarau until the end of the 2014-15 season.

FC Sion is a Swiss football team from the city of Sion. The club was founded in 1909, and play their home games at the Stade de Tourbillon. The club is part of the Raiffeisen Super League, the first division of Switzerland. They have won the Super League twice, and the Swiss Cup in each of their twelve appearances in the final, the most recent being in 2009.

Florian Berisha signed his first professional contract at the age of 16 with FC Sion. Being always part of the first team, Florian due to his young age played nearly 50 games for approximately 30 goals or assists with the young team FC Sion U-21, in 1ere ligue promotion, the third swiss division, before having the chance to play his first official game with the first team. At only 18 years old he made some good apparitions with the first team, for a total of 7 games, 1 goal and 1 assist, before going on a loan to acquire more experience.

 

After two loans on FC Schaffhausen and FC Yverdon-Sports, Florian unfortunately came back to Sion with a severe injury at a knee, forbidding him to play for 8 months. These loans where anyway some great experience, as at only 19 years old, Florian earned immediately himself a first-team spot, scoring 4 times, 4 assists in 17 games in the Swiss second division, Challenge League, before his injury. During this time, Florian was regularly involved in the Junior National Teams (10 games, 1 goal in Swiss U-19 and U-20).

However, Florian never gave up, and worked hard to come back to his previous level, the first year after his injury was not easy, but he played 13 games (2 goals, 3 assists) with the second teams, and had 2 apparitions with FC Sion. In 2011-12 he however tried to give his maximum to help FC U-21 to go in the new created ligue "1ere ligue Promotion", scoring 11 times, 8 assists in 24 games. Florian left FC-Sion at the end of the period, after 6 years.

In the season 2009-2010, Florian Berisha was loaned by FC Sion to FC Schaffhausen to acquire more experience, by playing during 6 months in the Challenge League (Swiss D2). At only 19 years old, Florian Berisha had since the beginning an important role in this team, playing 14 games of championship in 6 months, scoring 3 times, 4 assists, and playing 1 game and scoring one time during the Swiss cup. During this period, Florian was regularly involved in the Swiss U-20 national team.

Still during the 2009-2010 season, and after his first experience of Challenge League with FC Schaffhausen, Florian decided to pursuie its experience in Challenge League by coming closer to its originary city and club, Sion, by doing another 6 months loan on Yverdon-Sport FC. After having done the winter preparation with his new team, and playing the first 2 games of championship, unfortunately, Florian suffered from a bad injury during a game, resulting in a cruciate ligament injury on a knee, and forbidding him to play again during 8 months. This was a very hard time for Florian, who started his reeducation in Sion surrounded by the entire staff of FC Sion. FC Sion's president, Christian Constantin, asked himself to one the most famous swiss surgeon, who also took care of famous professional athletes such as Lara Gut or Didier Cuche, to look personally after his young talent.
